2000, Jones Behavioral Health, Inc., has been serving
the Central Savannah River Area in providing specialized
treatment services for children, adolescents, adults and
families. By providing a comprehensive, full continuum
of treatment services, JBH is able to offer the most
appropriate services depending on individual, couple and
family needs.

AND PURPOSE
Jones
Behavioral Health, Inc., strives to be a leading, most
respected provider of quality substance abuse, mental
and behavioral health care services in the Central
Savannah River Area; to provide a professional
environment for employee growth, and promote commitment
to excellence in a fiscally responsible manner.
·STAFF AND ADMINISTRATION
The staff
of Jones Behavioral Health, Inc., includes diverse
disciplines such as clinical social workers,
professional counselors, addiction counselors, nursing,
forensic counselors, domestic violence counselors,
psychology and other social service staff. Staff
providing direct care possess appropriate experience,
training, academic degrees, licensure, and certification
as defined by applicable state and federal regulations.
Staff also possesses specific competencies in working
with individuals based in identified and specific needs.
The
staffing plan is based on individual needs, the
responsibilities of each discipline, and the
availability of backup services. It also supports
activities such as staff education, cross training
in-services, quality assessment, and participation on
committees. Staffing patterns may be adjusted according
to census and level of acuity. Regulations govern
staff-to-patient ratios.

AND SCOPE OF SERVICES:
The Jones
Behavioral Health, Inc., provides a specially designed
continuum of outpatient services intended to meet the
unique needs of individuals who are experiencing social,
psychological, behavioral and emotional symptoms which
markedly impair their functioning. It is especially
appropriate for those individuals who require
coordinated and comprehensive, multi-modal therapeutic
interventions, and who possess a supportive living
environment. Outpatient services are appropriate for
those whom treatment is expected to assist in resolving
symptoms and improving functioning. Additionally,
intensive outpatient may be appropriate in order to help
individuals avoid further deterioration of functioning.
Services
at Jones Behavioral Health, Inc., consist of a number of
therapeutic and educational interventions and have a
defined treatment focus. Key components include:
comprehensive assessment/evaluation; individualized
treatment planning; physician supervision and treatment;
a comprehensive array of therapies including group
psychotherapy and psycho education; individual and family
therapy; and discharge planning. The therapeutic focus
is essential to the program’s success. In brief, the
focus is oriented towards problems/goals, based in the
here-and-now, emphasizes strengths and competencies,
focused on practical solutions, and geared towards
helping individuals achieve long term improvement.
